It is the intention of this page to provide information to MSOE students who are interested in joining the MSOE IEEE Student Branch. The MSOE IEEE Student Branch welcomes and encourages all Biomedical, Computer, Electrical, and Software Engineering students to become members of the organization. Any student is welcome to attend any scheduled meeting. For meeting dates, times, and locations, please either:

Purpose
|
|
The purpose of this organization is to introduce student members to the world of electrical and computer engineering. Through tours and professional associations, the student members experience what it is like to be a professional engineer.
|
Goals
|
|
The specific goals of the organization are as follows:
|
|
1
|
The first goal of this organization is to increase membership involvement in all IEEE activities and increase the number of active members.
|
|
2
|
The second goal is increased interaction with the Branch Chapter (EMBS) and make current members aware of this branch.
|
|
3
|
The third goal is to arrange more tours and guest speakers. This increases student involvement in the organization and provides student members with a better idea of what the engineering profession entails.

Membership Procedure
|
|
Any student wishing to become a member of the MSOE IEEE Student Branch should commit to the following procedure:
|

Attend any scheduled meeting.
|
|
2
|
Apply online at www.ieee.org/join.
|
|
3
|
Upon receipt of the membership card, sign on the designated space.
|
